1 .Production Overview

1.1 Overview of high flow proportional solenoid valve

High flow proportional solenoid valve is Keyto independent research and development of a

large orifice diaphragm solenoid valve, the main function is to control the flow of gas.

Proportional valve control principle: pulse width modulation signal (PWM) control, by changing

drive current of the coil to change the opening degree of the solenoid valve, so that there is a

linear relationship between the current and solenoid valve flow. Proportional valve can take the

way of open loop and closed loop control.

Typical Applications: Ventilators, Oxygenerator/Reservoirs, Anesthesia Delivery & Monitors,

Pressure and Flow Control, Mass flow controller.

1.3 Words Definition

Response Time(T)

Input air/water at 0.25MPa and maximum working pressure drop from inlet port, input rated

control electrical signal to make the tested solenoid valve open and close, then we'll get the

change of outlet pressure which we can measure from pressure sensor. At the same time, we'll get

the lapse of time which starts from power on/off to rise to 90% of max pressure (normally closed

valve) and drop to 10% of max pressure (normally open valve) by quick response time measure

devise. Repeatedly test 3 times and take the average value as the power on response time and the

power off response time.

As engineering experience, the current fluctuation caused by the change of the magnetic field

of the coil when the solenoid valve is switched, the action response time T1 is measured. T1 is

generally less than the response time T of the airflow method.
 

Seal Capability

Pressure strengthen (outside leakage).

The solenoid valve is in the open state, blocking the solenoid valve outlet, the inlet end is

connected to the flowmeter, the inlet end is passed with the air of the specified nominal pressure,

the flowmeter reading is read, the leakage amount should not be greater than the declared leakage

amount;

Sealing(inside leakage)

The solenoid valve is closed, the outlet end is connected to the flow meter, and the inlet end

is filled with air of the specified nominal pressure. The flow meter reading is read, and the leakage

amount should not be greater than the declared leakage;
